Gratitude is the NEW way to being
We are at the very beginning of a global gratitude awakening, where gratitude will become the norm in society. The interest in the science and practice of gratitude is important at this moment in time because this is what gives us the strength of our character to make life better not only for ourselves, but also for others. During these trying times instead of hating on one another and spreading more hate and fear we should be coming together with each other and appreciate all the things around us.
Gratitude is an emotion similar to appreciation, and positive psychology research has found neurological reasons why so many people can benefit from this general practice of expressing thanks for our lives, even in times of challenge and change.
When we bring in more gratitude to our lives we are able to have longer lasting positivity and happiness in our world. We are able to experience life satisfaction and be able to express more gratitude to others in different situations.
Expressing your thanks can improve your overall sense of well-being. Grateful people are more agreeable, more open, and less neurotic.
