Walk the Talk

May 7 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm Seafront Oval

Walk The Talk Shell’s Way is a community event to raise awareness and support for Domestic and Family Violence prevention.
Held at the start of Domestic and Family Violence Prevention Month, this event will include a United against Violence 5 kilometre walk or run around Seafront Oval in Hervey Bay.
We encourage you to walk the talk – to put your words into action and show that you mean what you say by actively doing it yourself.
Purple is the colour of the Domestic and Family Violence Prevention Month campaign, so we encourage you all to wear purple – go crazy if you like, purple hair, purple dress up – make it fun!
This event is the second annual Walk the Talk in honour of Shelly Howden, who spent many years of life advocating for Domestic and Family Violence prevention within the Hervey Bay community.
Join us to celebrate and honour Aunty Shell’s advocacy and put your best foot forward in the battle to eradicate Domestic and Family Violence in our community.
