COOL COUNTRY SOCIAL MUSIC CLUB FOR ALL MUSIC LOVERS It’s ‘Cool’ to be at Cool Country Social Music Club. ‘Cool’ in Cool Country means ‘cool’ singing any genre of music, including Country. The Music Club is a not-for-profit Inc. located here in Hervey Bay. Our aim is to bring people & music together. We also raise funds for other local not-for-profit organisations in the Fraser Coast, Wide Bay district. Club practice is every Thursday night, at the Senior Citizens Hall, (corner of Totness St & Denman Camp Rd, Torquay). Doors open at 4.15pm & music starts at 5pm. Our doors are always open to people looking for somewhere to sing &/or play an instrument. All genres and ages welcome. Either Solo or accompanied by the experienced Cool Country Band; from Country, Folk, Rock’n Roll & Blues etc. If you are not a performer but love music: you are welcome to come along & enjoy the music and the friendly atmosphere. Club concerts are on the 2nd Sunday of each month. With great entertainment by club & visiting musicians. The rest of the year dates are Sunday 12th July, 9th Aug, 13th Sept, 11th Oct, 8th Nov & 13th Dec. Come along and enjoy a day of entertainment, doors open 10am for a 10.30am start. With a canteen, raffles & lucky door prize. Entry fee is $5 for members & $7 for non-members for practice night & concert day.
