The 2019 Tiaro Field Day will be bigger and better than ever before, showcasing the best of our region’s agricultural and lifestyle offerings.
As a celebration of all the things we love about rural living, the event will feature a huge line up of entertainment, activities, displays, and workshops for the whole family.
For lovers of great food, Matt Golinski highly regarded, professional chef with a passion for creating cuisine using fresh, seasonal and local ingredients will be cooking up a feast using regional produce. Also, ABC’s gardening expert Tom Wyatt will be on hand to answer your questions and share his tips and tricks to help make your garden flourish.
For anyone with an interest in land regeneration and rehabilitation, Stuart Andrews will be offering a fascinating insight into the benefits of Natural Sequence Farming, and a Heifer Competition will give the audience the chance to try out their cattle judging skills.
The kids will love the opportunity to get up close and personal with a host of amazing wildlife including snakes, crocodiles, frogs, possums, owls, lizards and more, as well as the all-day drop-in nature journaling activity.
Centre Ring will be humming all day with edutainment displays of dance, retrieval dogs and Extreme Cowboy Racing, while Horse Corner will feature Quantum Savvy horsemanship, saddle fitting, veterinary and hoof, and health care workshops.
The 2019 Tiaro Field Day will also feature community group displays, food vendors and entertainment by local musicians.
