What’s On Fraser Coast has just been advised that the Hervey Bay Local Ambulance Committee (LAC) will be running their annual Ambulance Goods Wheel this year, in Scarness Park, opposite the Beach House Hotel, from Saturday 18th December through to 8th January 2022, (except Christmas Day).
This is very exciting news as this event is much loved by locals and visitors alike.
The LAC have planned to run as Covid safe an event as possible with a few changes this year, as follows:
– There will be no seating provided this year!
– All patrons are to bring their own chairs and/or picnic blankets etc.
– Hand sanitizer stations will be provided.
– QR Codes to register attendance
– Social distancing when getting change
– Social distancing when buying tickets
– All adults are responsible for maintaining social distance for themselves and their family
– Children are to stay with parents/guardians and not gather at the front of the stage area.
– A limited number of prize winners will be allowed on the stage at one time.
(These guidelines may change closer to the date, depending on the current Queensland Health advice).
