Local businesses set to take the Relish Food & Wine Festival by storm!

The annual Relish Food & Wine Festival is well underway with just 3 weeks until the event takes place at Queens Park and Portside Precinct, Maryborough, on Saturday, 4 June 2022, from 10am – 5pm.

As Fraser Coast locals buzz with excitement and much anticipation for the return of the events season, Mayor George Seymour hit the streets of Maryborough, visiting one of the delectable producers at
this year’s festival, MAD Providore.

The mother/daughter duo, who operate the Maryborough based gourmet Delicatessen & specialty food store, share equal excitement for the return of the Relish Food & Wine Festival with their pre-ordered ‘Cheese ‘n’ Charcuterie’ platters. The packaged ‘Cheese ‘n’ Charcuterie’ platter is a single serving and includes a curated selection of cheeses, charcuterie, antipasto, fruit & nuts.

“The festival gives us the opportunity to provide the public with a chance to sample what we provide here at MAD Providore, in a beautiful Relish setting. What better way than to sit in beautiful Queens Park, listening to music and enjoying a cheese and charcuterie platter,” said MAD Providore co-owner
Helen Outhwaite.

When asked what being involved with the Relish Food & Wine Festival meant for local businesses, Mayor George Seymour explained, “It’s an opportunity for them to shine, it’s about celebrating our local businesses like MAD Providore who are creating unique foods.

“We want to showcase all of the businesses within Maryborough and the Fraser Coast, and the Relish Food & Wine Festival is a great way to do that,” said Mayor Seymour.

Other local Fraser Coast businesses joining MAD Providore at this year’s festival include the likes of Tourism Ambassadors Dan and Steph with their exclusive session Pigs, Pots & Pinot; the Hervey Bay
Boat Club with the popular Blues & Brews Cruise and the Twilight River Cruise; Champagne High Tea at Portside Café and Restaurant; 2022 newcomer session ‘Paint & Sip’ by Gin & Gesso with just two
tickets remaining; and Odyssey Bistro with their sold-out session Odyssey Food & Cocktail Journey.

Limited session tickets remain available, attendees are encouraged to get in quick to pre-order their Cheese ‘n’ Charcuterie platters and tickets here https://relishfoodandwine2022.eventbrite.com.au.
