Collective Shoots Queensland is about coming together as artists and to share the passion of our art with everyone. Collective Shoots Queensland holds events once every 2-3 months in Hervey Bay and Townsville with a different theme for each, it helps the artists push their boundaries, have some fun and get creative with the concepts at hand.
The First event in Hervey Bay is on the 10th of June and all artists are welcome to participate. Artists can be Anyone from models to Fashion designers, photographers, Hairstylist, Make-up Artists and body painters the list is endless, it’s the perfect chance to network with other local artists and show your passion to the community. The first event has a small fee of $30 to participate, this covers admin fees and goes towards a venue for the models to get ready with the artists and go to the Photo-shoot location. Water is also supplied along with various nibbles as well to keep everyone well hydrated.
This is a perfect opportunity:
For models – to gain experience in as many aspects of modelling as possible at as little cost as possible. Forge friendships with other models. Build relationships with local photographers, make-up artists, hair stylists and business owners with the hope of future work. Add quality images to our modelling portfolios. To have fun!
For photographers – to gain experience in many different styles/varieties of photography at as little cost as possible. Forge friendships and exchange tips with other photographers. Build relationships with local models, make-up artists, hair stylists, clothing/set stylists, directors and business owners in the hope of future work. Add quality images to our photography portfolios. To have fun!
For hair and make-up artists – to gain experience and try out new ideas in many different styles and trends of make-up and hair at as little cost as possible. Forge friendships and work with other hair and make-up artists. Build relationships with local models, photographers, clothing/set stylists, directors and business owners in the hope of future work. Add quality images to our hair and make-up portfolios. To have fun!
For business owners – to have the opportunity to experience the exciting creative process of this industry. To network and make connections that may further their business prospects. To be given the chance to have the Collective create advertising material for future use*. Receive a high volume of exposure in social media for their participation. To have fun!
